This is a method for predicting colours in an image. When dealing with certain colour blocks and a specific technique called LM, it calculates a prediction mode using an LM mapping table. Then, it creates a prediction based on this mode. Using different tables depending on whether LM is used, ensures efficient encoding and decoding without wasting bits.
