Patent №: 11764990 (September 19, 2023) – Doorbell communications systems and methods.

Doorbell systems consist of a doorbell and a chime. The chime, in certain cases, connects wirelessly to a building’s network, the doorbell, and a remote device. It can also communicate with the doorbell, remote device, or a remote sensor in some instances.

Patent №: 11763171 (September 19, 2023) – System and methods for modulating dissemination of content to mobile devices and robots.

A method controls content distribution to communication devices. It involves receiving a user-initiated action message that triggers content dissemination to multiple devices. The system identifies a group of devices for distribution and then selects a subset from that group. The content is sent to this chosen subset based on a rating formula, which takes into account feedback from users who already received the content.

Patent №: 11764836 (September 19, 2023) – Link adaptation control for extremely high throughput systems.

This application focuses on enhancing link adaptation for high-speed systems (EHT). It provides methods for transmitting adaptation details for both single-user (SU-MIMO) and multi-user (MU-MIMO) scenarios. One approach uses two control IDs—one for each MIMO type—while another uses a single control ID, all within the A-control subfield.

Patent №: 11765385 (September 19, 2023) – Intra prediction method of chrominance block using luminance sample, and apparatus using same.

This is a method for predicting colours in an image. When dealing with certain colour blocks and a specific technique called LM, it calculates a prediction mode using an LM mapping table. Then, it creates a prediction based on this mode. Using different tables depending on whether LM is used, ensures efficient encoding and decoding without wasting bits.
