This describes a magnetic device used in technologies like MRAM. It has a structure called a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) between two electrodes. To protect the MTJ during manufacturing processes, a special protective layer made of materials like Boron (B), Carbon (C), or Germanium (Ge) is added. This layer is very thin (about 3 to 10 Angstroms) and prevents harmful reactions during high-temperature steps in the manufacturing process. It’s important that this layer remains amorphous to avoid the diffusion of reactive oxygen or nitrogen.

A method of decoding JVET video. It involves receiving a bitstream that shows how a coding unit was divided based on a partitioning structure. Then, it selects an intra-direction mode and reference lines to make a predictor. The predictor combines pixel values from the main and side reference lines, weighted according to a shift conversion factor.
This method is used in user equipment. It involves creating a specific signal called a “narrowband random access preamble” using a Zadoff-Chu sequence. Then, this signal is sent to a network node through a narrowband channel, which shares the frequency with another channel called PUSCH. This narrowband channel consists of slots with a specific duration and operates within a certain period.
