Sunghoon Kim
Dr. Kim Sunghoon is a South Korean biologist.
Education: 1981 B.S. Seoul National University; 1983 M.S. Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology; 1991 Ph.D. Brown University, U.S.
His research unveils novel regulatory networks mediated by human aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases that have been regarded as housekeeping machinery for protein synthesis. These proteins’ regulatory roles and implications in human diseases have been largely overlooked for decades. His series of discoveries on the new function, pathology and medicine of ARSs are rapidly opening a research area that throws new insights into the central dogma of life and human diseases.
Patent №: 11716246 (August 1, 2023) – Device and method for providing edge computing service in wireless communication systems.
Patent №: 11716621 (August 1, 2023) – Apparatus and method for providing mobile edge computing services in wireless communication systems.
Dmitry Lubomirsky
Vice President at Applied Materials since 1996.
Patent №: 11715625 (August 1, 2023) – Semiconductor processing chamber.

An exemplary semiconductor processing system consists of a pedestal supporting a semiconductor substrate, which also acts as the first plasma-generating electrode. The system includes a lid plate with a radial volume and a faceplate supported on the lid plate, functioning as the second plasma-generating electrode. The space between the pedestal and the faceplate creates a plasma processing region within the radial volume of the faceplate. The faceplate has several small apertures, while a showerhead between the faceplate and pedestal has more apertures than the faceplate.
