Patent №: 12316877 – High-level syntax control flags for template matching-related coding tools in video coding.

A video decoding device uses a processor to extract a syntax element from a bitstream. If it indicates template-matching is enabled, the tool is applied to predict and reconstruct the current coding unit.

Patent №: 12316873 – Video coding using mapped transforms and scanning modes. A video encoder applies a transform to residual data, then scans it into 1D based on the transform and intra-prediction mode. The transform and scan mode may be signaled to the decoder.

Patent №: 12316868 – Motion vector (MV) candidate reordering. A system for video coding obtains prediction candidates, groups them using a method, reorders the group, and selects a merge candidate to add to a candidate list.

Patent №: 12316832 – Methods for adaptive signaling of maximum number of merge candidates in multiple hypothesis prediction. A device for video coding checks if multiple-hypothesis prediction (MHP) is enabled. If so, it sets a maximum number of merge candidates, builds an MHP merge list, and codes the video data using that list.

Machine learning estimates a channel between transmitter and receiver using their locations and environment data, enabling smarter actions.

Patent №: 12317336 – Waveform configuration and indication for uplink transmission. Wireless systems can support flexible waveforms for autonomous uplink. A base station broadcasts configuration info, enabling the UE to select waveform types based on rules, scenarios, and lookup tables.

Patent №: 12317240 – Configuration of FA PPDU for TB PPDU.

Techniques configure FA PPDUs for trigger-based transmissions by sending a trigger frame and decoding responses from multiple stations.

Patent №: 12317239 – Apparatus, system and method of communication according to an automated frequency coordination (AFC) allocation scheme. An AP device with multiple co-located APs operates on various 6 GHz channels using an AFC scheme. It monitors the distance to a STA and assigns a specific channel based on coverage and AFC allocation.
