Hu is a a researcher at Mississauga-based Xerox Research Centre of Canada, developed an “adhesion promoter” that improves book-binding capabilities of colour printers.

Nan-Xing completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai. He then completed his master’s and doctorate in organic chemistry at Hiroshima University in Japan.

Patent №: 12252568 – Silicone copolymer surface additive. An organic polymeric particle is disclosed, comprising a hydrophobic monomer (optional), a crosslinking monomer with multiple vinyl groups, an optional amine-containing monomer, and a polymerizable vinyl siloxane monomer.

Patent №: 12230756 – Biodegradable electrochemical device and methods thereof. An electrochemical device is disclosed, featuring an anode, a cathode, and an extruded electrolyte composition between them. The device may have a stacked or lateral geometry, and the electrolyte composition, which may include a gel polymer, is arranged in a laterally non-continuous pattern. A method for producing the electrolyte layer is also provided.
