Mr. Hung received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, in 1987, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1989.

He joined Macronix in 1991 as an EPROM designer. His research interests are the non-volatile memories.
