Patent №: 12164985 (December 10, 2024) – System and method for selectively adjustable data exchange between a smart package and a requesting system.
An assembly includes a sealed protective container housing a medical device and an RFID tag. The RFID tag, equipped with a processor and memory, receives requests from a remote network to access specific data stored on it. It determines and transmits the requested data subset while ensuring secure communication and data integrity.
Patent №: 12161544 (December 10, 2024) – Implantable sphincter assistance device sealing and attachment elements for connection of beads. An apparatus includes beads joined by a linking assembly to form a loop around an anatomical structure. Each bead has a magnet within a sealed housing and is magnetically biased toward a contracted configuration. The linking assembly includes an elongate link within the bead’s chamber and a sealing element creating a hermetic seal. The loop can transition between contracted and expanded states.
Patent №: 12161425 (December 10, 2024) – Methods and systems for controlling cooperative surgical instruments with variable surgical site access trajectories. These enable synchronized operation of instruments approaching a surgical site from different anatomical spaces or cavities. The systems facilitate minimally invasive treatments by aligning the actions of disparate instruments to achieve a common surgical goal.
Patent №: 12161335 (December 10, 2024) – Method of applying a buttress to a surgical stapler. A method including a buttress body and bioabsorbable adhesive, between the anvil and staple cartridge of the stapler’s end effector. With the anvil initially open, the adhesive faces either the anvil’s underside or the cartridge deck. The anvil is then closed and reopened, adhering the buttress assembly to the anvil or cartridge via the adhesive.
Patent №: 12161329 (December 10, 2024) – Surgical systems comprising a control circuit including a timer. One jaw includes a channel for a cartridge containing surgical fasteners. An electrically powered actuator with a power source and motor deploys the fasteners. The handle includes an activation mechanism to close the jaws and activate the actuator. A lockout mechanism ensures current flows to the motor only when the jaws are closed, preventing activation when they are open.
Patent №: 12161328 (December 10, 2024) – Staple cartridge comprising wire staples and stamped staples. A staple cartridge assembly is disclosed, comprising wire staples and staples formed from sheet material.
Patent №: 12161327 (December 10, 2024) – Atraumatic stapling head features for circular surgical stapler. An apparatus includes a body, a shaft assembly, a stapling head, and an anvil. The stapling head features an annular deck with a curved surface extending from its inner to outer diameter, an outer and inner array of staple openings, and a driver to drive staples through these openings. The anvil compresses tissue against the deck surface during operation.
Patent №: 12161326 (December 10, 2024) – Surgical anvil manufacturing methods. A method for manufacturing a surgical stapling anvil involves creating a first anvil member with a tissue-facing surface featuring staple-forming pockets and a longitudinal cavity with anvil ledges for engagement by a stapling instrument’s firing member. The ledges are polished, and the first anvil member is welded to a second anvil member.
Patent №: 12161324 (December 10, 2024) – Surgical stapler with independently actuated drivers to provide varying staple heights. The end effector comprises a staple deck, an anvil, and two staple drivers. The first staple driver deploys a first annular staple array to a specific compressed height, while the second staple driver deploys a second annular staple array to a different compressed height, functioning independently.
Patent №: 12161320 (December 10, 2024) – Powered surgical stapler. A surgical instrument includes a handle, a motor, and a shaft aligned along a longitudinal axis. It features a fastener cartridge with removable fasteners, an anvil to deform the fasteners, a closure drive to move the anvil relative to the cartridge, and a firing drive to deploy the fasteners. Both the closure and firing drives are rotatable about the longitudinal axis. A transmission allows the motor to switch between operating the closure drive and the firing drive.

Patent №: 12167456 (December 10, 2024) – Methods and apparatus for inter-UE coordinated resource allocation in wireless communication. The operations include establishing a sidelink session with a transmitting UE, configuring the session for coordinated resource selection before local sensing, performing local sensing, and receiving PSCCH and PSSCH signals from the transmitting UE, which reserves multiple resources. The processor also determines resource collisions and transmits coordination messages to the transmitting UE.
Patent №: 12167423 (December 10, 2024) – Multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) transmission and reception in connected state during wireless communications. User equipment (UE) can receive MBMS transmissions via a dedicated BWP for PTM or MBMS-specific resources within a UE-dedicated BWP. The base station configures the MBMS BWP per serving cell, provides PTM scheduling info, and indicates if a UE-dedicated BWP is used for PTM. UEs share their MBMS and PTM/PTP capabilities to aid efficient scheduling.
Patent №: 12167400 (December 10, 2024) – Accumulation of PUCCH repetitions to increase the reliability of PUCCH reception. The BS configures the number, timing, and repetition mode of PUCCH transmissions. In intra-slot mode, multiple copies may be sent per slot, optionally with frequency hopping, while in inter-slot mode, one copy is sent per slot. Repetitions may follow a spatial consistency pattern with varying transmission directions.
Patent №: 12167390 (December 10, 2024) – Harq design for wireless communications. When multiple PUSCH transmissions are scheduled and overlap with UCI transmission, one PUSCH for UCI multiplexing is determined based on the Downlink Assignment Index (DAI) value. Only one PUSCH is set with a DAI value not equal to four, and the selected PUSCH is transmitted with the multiplexed UCI.
Patent №: 12167341 (December 10, 2024) – Control signaling for robust physical uplink shared channel transmission. This disclosure describes techniques for control signaling to enhance robust uplink data transmissions. A wireless device performs multiple uplink transmission repetitions, selecting a beam for each. Different beams may be used for different repetitions.
Patent №: 12166560 (December 10, 2024) – High speed single frequency network beam failure recovery. This disclosure outlines techniques for beam failure recovery in high-speed single-frequency networks. A wireless device establishes a link with the network and determines beam failure detection resources for multiple transmission reception points. It detects beam failures using these resources for recovery.
Patent №: 12166559 (December 10, 2024) – Systems and methods for beam failure recovery enhancement. The UE receives downlink (DL) reference signals from a base station and performs beam failure detection (BFD) on beams used for user data and candidate beam detection (CBD) on non-user data beams. BFD and CBD consider both uplink (UL) and DL channel performance, enabling detection and recovery in either or both directions.

Patent №: 12167415 (December 10, 2024) – Wireless communication method and wireless communication terminal, which use discontinuous channel.
The terminal includes a processor and transceiver. The processor receives a wireless packet, extracts total bandwidth information from the HE-SIG-A bandwidth field, identifies unassigned resource units from HE-SIG-A or HE-SIG-B fields, and decodes the packet using this information.
Patent №: 12166587 (December 10, 2024) – Wireless communication terminal and wireless communication method for multi-user concurrent transmission. A base terminal includes a transceiver for wireless signals and a processor for control. The processor transmits a trigger frame for multi-user uplink, receives uplink data from allocated resources, and sends a block ACK. The block ACK transmissions across resources are synchronized to end simultaneously.
