Patent №: 12088491 (September 10, 2024) – Techniques for payment-based network transmissions. A network node sends a query to transmit information, receives bids from nodes, and selects a path for anonymous transmission. The data is encrypted in layers matching the intermediary nodes, ensuring secure, anonymous delivery.

Patent №: 12086801 (September 10, 2024) –System and method of using localized blockchain to enable payment card use without connectivity. A system for off-network transactions includes smart payment and POS devices that store transaction data in a digital ledger. When connected, devices exchange records and upload the data to a blockchain for secure storage and resolution.

Patent №: 12086635 (September 10, 2024) – Computer-based systems and/or computing devices configured for the scaling of computing resources using a machine learning model trained to monitor and/or predict usage of inference models. The method trains a machine learning model to identify a correlation between spikes in a computing service’s usage and a later spike in an inference model’s usage, using real-time data to predict the upcoming spike.

Yushu Zhang
Standards Engineer at Google.
Mr. Zhang received his Master’s degree in communication and information systems from Beijing Jiaotong University, China, in 2011.
He has been the 3GPP feature lead of the Rel-15 uplink codebook-based transmission and Rel-16 beam management on interference-aware beam selection and secondary cell beam failure recovery.
Patent №: 12088516 (September 10, 2024) – Resource allocation for multi-TRP URLLC. The processor allocates resource blocks into two portions based on an RIV, LRBS, and a fraction. The radio circuitry then transmits the first portion via one TRP and the second via another TRP.

Patent №: 12089210 (September 10, 2024) – Multi-transmission and reception point operation . The method involves transmitting two HARQ-ACKs within a single slot to a base station, with each sent over separate PUCCH channels. If additional uplink signals collide with either HARQ-ACK, the response is managed based on the user equipment (UE) configuration.

Patent №: 12089209 (September 10, 2024) – System information scheduling for reduced capability devices in wireless communication . This application covers devices, systems, and methods for scheduling system information specifically for reduced capability devices in wireless communication networks.

Patent №: 12089068 (September 10, 2024) – TCI and QCL configuration in 5G networks. User equipment (UE) decodes RRC signaling to configure multi-TRP reception. It processes a MAC control element to determine active TCI states, then decodes downlink information from multiple TRPs via corresponding receive beams.

Patent №: 12088388 (September 10, 2024) – Type II CSI port selection codebook enhancement with partial reciprocity. The base station identifies dominant signal paths and sends CSI measurement configuration to the UE. The UE selects a measurement resource and reports the selection, along with a subset of CSI-RS ports, back to the base station.

Patent №: 12088387 (September 10, 2024) – Secondary cell beam failure recovery operation in new radio (NR). A system detects beam failure on a secondary cell (SCell) and sends a recovery request (BFRQ) via the primary cell (PCell). After receiving a response from the base station, a new beam is used for the SCell.

Patent №: 12088380 (September 10, 2024) – Artificial intelligence based channel state information framework. This disclosure describes an AI-based system for channel state information (CSI) reporting. A base station informs a wireless device of AI support, and the device selects an AI model to perform CSI reporting with the cell.

Frederick M Schwarz
Assistant Director, Advanced Technologies and Patent Strategies at Pratt & Whitney.
Pratt & Whitney is a leading-edge provider of jet engines for commercial and military engines.
Patent №: 12084978 (September 10, 2024) – Epicyclic gear train.

The gas turbine engine features a propulsor, turbine, compressor, and an epicyclic gear train connecting the propulsor and turbine shafts. The gear train includes a sun gear, intermediary gears, and a two-part ring gear joined at a radial interface.

Seyed Ali Akbar Fakoorian
Cellular System & Standard Engineer at Apple.
Patent №: 12088380 (September 10, 2024) – Artificial intelligence based channel state information framework.

This disclosure outlines AI-based techniques for channel state information (CSI) reporting. A base station informs a wireless device that AI-based CSI reporting is supported. The device confirms its capability, selects an AI model, and uses it for CSI reporting with the cell.

Patent №: 12082219 (September 10, 2024) – System and methods for dynamic scheduling in new radio with user equipment. Dynamic scheduling in 5G New Radio allows a UE to receive a DCI indicating updated resources. The UE uses this information to send a scheduling request (SR).

Lars W Liebmann
Manager, Pathfinding Exploration at Intel.
Patent №: 12087640 (September 10, 2024) – High density logic formation using multi-dimensional laser annealing.

The method for forming transistor devices includes creating the first transistor plane on a substrate with an epitaxial film, adding an insulator layer, and depositing polycrystalline silicon. The silicon is annealed with laser heating to increase grain size. A second transistor plane is formed on this layer, followed by another insulator and polycrystalline silicon layer, which is annealed using laser heating.
