Patent №: 12114312 (October 8, 2024) – Physical uplink control channel configuration for millimeter wave bands.

A user equipment (UE) processes information for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) communication by either using an extended sequence longer than the base sequence or applying a cyclic shift to the information based on a resource block group. The UE then transmits the processed information.

Patent №: 12114291 (October 8, 2024) – Virtual resource block to physical resource block mapping in new radio. The method includes determining an interleaved mapping that links a group of consecutive VRBs to consecutive PRBs, where each PRB consists of a set of frequency resources. A grant is transmitted to allocate these VRBs to a user equipment (UE), followed by communication with the UE through the corresponding PRBs.

Patent №: 12114287 (October 8, 2024) – Page indication for idle or inactive state user equipment (UE). User equipment (UE) receives a page indication (PI) from a base station before the next paging occasion (PO) in a paging cycle. The PI, transmitted in a first location and repeated across multiple beams, is decoded by the UE to determine if it is being paged in the upcoming PO.

Patent №: 12114272 (October 8, 2024) – Gain control in sideline. Certain aspects of this disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication by user equipment (UE). The UE transmits an automatic gain control (AGC) signal at first power over a first frequency bandwidth in the first symbol of a slot. Then, in a mini-slot within the same slot, the UE transmits a second AGC signal and data, while refraining from transmission between the first symbol and the mini-slot.

Patent №: 12113733 (October 8, 2024) – Processing relaxation for aperiodic CSI-RS. The disclosure discusses processing relaxation for aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reference signals (CSI-RS) in full dimension multiple input, multiple output (FD-MIMO) systems. When a user equipment (UE) detects aperiodic CSI-RS, it may relax its CSI reporting by either adjusting its reporting based on uplink shared channel limitations, reducing the processing effort for the CSI report, or applying both approaches.

Patent №: 12113629 (October 8, 2024) – Prioritization between a scheduling request and HARQ feedback. A user equipment (UE) identifies an overlap between scheduling request (SR) and HARQ feedback transmission. It decides which to transmit based on the SR type, beam relationship, or HARQ feedback content, and then transmits accordingly.

Satoshi Nagata
3GPP TSG-SA – Vice Chair.
Patent №: 12114206 (October 8, 2024) – Terminal and wireless communication method for controlling uplink.
The terminal includes a reception unit that receives control information related to uplink transmission, shared with a group of terminals. A control unit manages either the terminal’s uplink transmission or its reception of transmissions from another terminal based on this control information.

Patent №: 12114178 (October 8, 2024) – User terminal and radio communication method. A user terminal transmits reference signal measurements using a spatial domain filter. For low-latency beam selection, it assumes the filter remains the same for a channel after a certain time, based on the latest measurement before a set time. This enables fast switching of TCI-state, QCL assumption, or beam.

Patent №: 12113741 (October 8, 2024) – User terminal and radio communication method. A user terminal in this disclosure includes a transmission section that sends information about a new candidate beam when a beam failure in a cell is detected. The control section uses a specified reference signal for the new candidate beam if no reference signal is configured for it.

Technical Director at NXP Semiconductors.
Patent №: 12114383 (October 8, 2024) – Apparatus and method for multi-link communications.
In one embodiment, a method for multi-link communication involves an access point (AP) multi-link device allocating Association IDs (AIDs) to non-AP multi-link devices, with each device receiving a unique AID. The AP then generates an indication element for the AIDs, indicating the buffered data configuration at the AP for the non-AP devices.

Patent №: 12114259 (October 8, 2024) – Access point and station multi-link device operation. Various embodiments describe a method by a multi-link device (MLD) access point to establish a target wake time (TWT) with an MLD station. The method includes the MLD access point transmitting a TWT setup frame to the MLD station, indicating whether the setup applies to multiple links between them. The MLD access point then negotiates a TWT agreement via one of the links, with the agreement applying to all indicated multiple links.

Patent №: D1045576 (October 8, 2024) – Jig for screen protector installation kit.

Patent №: 12113732 (October 8, 2024) – Configuration of data unit for duplicate transmission.
This specification introduces a feature to extend the transmission range of a wireless LAN signal. The signal, such as a transmission physical protocol data unit (PPDU), uses a duplicate transmission mode. In this mode, the data unit is duplicated across the frequency spectrum based on the total bandwidth of the PPDU.

Patent №: 12113618 (October 8, 2024) – Method and apparatus for receiving PPDU over broadband in wireless LAN system. A method and apparatus for receiving a PPDU in a wireless LAN system over a broadband are proposed. The receiving device (STA) receives and decodes the PPDU from a transmitting STA over a broadband, which could be a 320 MHz or 160+160 MHz band. The PPDU contains first and second signal (SIG) fields, with the first SIG field providing information about the broadband bandwidth, encoded using 3 or 4 bits.
