Patent №: 11997705 (May 28, 2024) – Method and apparatus for performing scheduling request. Disclosed is a communication technique combining 5G and IoT technologies for intelligent services like smart homes and connected cars. A method for a terminal in a wireless system includes: triggering a buffer status report (BSR), triggering a scheduling request (SR) for the BSR, transmitting a MAC PDU with the BSR before the SR, and determining if the SR is canceled based on logical channel information.
Patent №: 11997676 (May 28, 2024) – Method and apparatus for communicating data packets in a cloud cell. The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for communicating data packets in a cloud cell. A BS identifies the network node from which data packets are received. If from a data gateway, it identifies the destination network node. For packets to a slave BS, the master BS performs partial processing and sends them to the slave BS for complete processing and transmission to the MS. If packets are for the MS, the BS completes the processing and transmits them directly to the MS.
