Patrick Miles

Chairman & CEO at Alphatec Spine.

Patent №: 11998242 (June 4, 2024) – Systems and methods for planning, performing, and assessing spinal correction during surgery.

image 39

A surgical system includes a control unit that obtains horizontal pelvic and shoulder lines, central sacral and orthogonal midlines, compares these lines, determines the angle between the pelvic and shoulder lines, and converts this angle to a patient position.

Kevin A Shelby

Mr. Shelby holds an M.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, and a B.S. from North Carolina A&T State Univ., Greensboro, NC, both in electrical engineering.

Mr. Shelby’s responsibilities at Coherent Logix include engineering technical lead for software defined radio with hands-on involvement in algorithm development, system design, design verification, and select tool enhancements. He has extensive experience in broadband communications, wireless networking, and terrestrial broadcast, with specific application to real-time, software defined radio implementation.

Patent №: 12003981 (June 4, 2024) – Parameterized radio waveform techniques for operating in multiple wireless environments. Techniques for operating a wireless network in various radio environments are disclosed. An apparatus receives a parameter set suitable for a specific environment, like a certain mobility level or transmission range. It reconfigures to receive broadcasts from another transmitter using a different parameter set for another environment. These parameter sets determine subcarrier spacing and cyclic prefix size.

Larry Joseph Koudele

Principle Engineer (Memory Architecture Group)Principle Engineer (Memory Architecture Group)Micron Technology (retired)

Patent №: 12001286 (June 4, 2024) – Memory device with dynamic processing level calibration.

image 41

A system includes a memory array and a processing device. The processing device iteratively adjusts an active processing level by determining read results at the active level and an offset level, then incrementally adjusting the active level based on comparing these results.

Patent №: 12000236 (June 4, 2024) – Cement mixer and multiple purpose pumper (CMMP) for land rig. Embodiments provide a pump assembly with a first pump that has two inlets for delivering different fluids and two discharges for outputting these fluids at different pressures. The discharges are isolated from each other.

Patent №: 11998766 (June 4, 2024) – Medical device with CMUT array and solid state cooling, and associated methods and systems. A medical device includes a CMUT array to emit ultrasound to target tissue and a thermoelectric cooler to cool non-target tissue heated by the ultrasound. It can be implemented in a catheter with a thermal conductor to dissipate heat. A catheter or sleeve has a tubular wall for insertion into a body channel and a thermoelectric cooler to cool the channel wal

Patent №: 12003271 (June 4, 2024) – Sleepy device operation in asynchronous channel hopping networks. A radio communications device includes an RTC that runs during sleep to receive an asynchronous hopping sequence (AHS) frame from a coordinator node (CN) in a WPAN. A processor runs an algorithm to determine a timestamp for the AHS frame and the CN’s initial timing in the hopping sequence, stores the timestamp, and changes the Rx channel frequency upon waking.
