Christoph Hauger
Director Advanced Development Carl Zeiss Meditec AG.
Patent №: 12051194 (July 30, 2024) – Scanning image generation apparatus and scanning image recording method.

A scanning image generation apparatus includes an image acquisition unit that scans grid points of an object to obtain image information. An evaluation unit with a software routine classifies this information as usable or unusable. A release unit permits image recording if the information is usable.

Timothy Lewis Ruchti
Director Algorithms at Nihon Kohden.

Patent №: 12048831 (July 30, 2024) – Multi-sensor infusion system for detecting air or an occlusion in the infusion system. An infusion system connects to a fluid delivery line and infusion container, featuring a pump, various sensors, a processor, and memory. The sensors detect air in the fluid line. The memory contains code that enables the processor to determine the presence of air, identify partial or total occlusions, and calculate the air percentage or the probability of air in the fluid delivery line.

Paul Petzl is the son of Fernand Petzl, artisan model-maker and well-known caver. In 1975, along with his brother Pierre and their father, Paul created the company that bears his name in Crolles, near Grenoble.
The workshop initially specialised in caving equipment, but has grown over the years, producing vertical access equipment and lighting for mountain use, climbing, work at height, emergency rescue teams, etc.
In 2006, the Petzl Foundation was created to support actions of general interest for the communities related to the company’s activities.
Patent №: 12051723 (July 30, 2024) – PN-body-tied field effect transistors. Disclosed are PN-body-tied field effect transistors (PNBTFETs) and related methods. An integrated circuit (IC) structure includes a fin with a channel region doped with a first type, an intermediate region doped with a second type, and a contact region doped with the first type. A gate partially surrounds the channel region, and a conductive contact touches the contact region.
