Daniel J Coster
Mr. Coster spent 20 years at Apple designing some of the world’s most famous products.
In his 20 years at Apple, Coster was a core member of Sir Jonathan Ives team and contributed to the design direction for a wide range of iconic Apple products, including the original iMac and several iterations of iPhone and iPad.
Leaving Apple in 2016, Coster joined GoPro as VP of Design.
He is the recipient of the 2016 John Britten Black Pin – New Zealand’s highest design award – which is conferred for outstanding leadership, vision, creativity and achievement in the field of design.

Xiaobo Zhang
CTO at LangBo Com.

Patent №: 12028832 (July 2, 2024) – Method and device for discontinuous reception. The present disclosure provides a method and device for Discontinuous Reception. A node receives information, senses a radio signal, selects a time-frequency resource block, and transmits signaling within it. The information includes Destination IDs, ensuring no useful bits for the node are identified by these IDs. This method reduces power consumption and radio interference.

Patent №: 12028758 (July 2, 2024) – Method and device in nodes used for wireless communication. The present disclosure provides a method and device for wireless communications. A node receives a first information block and a PDCCH, which belongs to a specific search space and control resource set. It transmits W bit sets determined by the first information block. The control resource pool identifies a bit set with X subsets for X cell groups. The PDCCH, used for a serving cell, determines an identifier, ensuring successful HARQ transmission.

James H Pratt
AI User Experience Director @ AT&T | Designing Data-Driven Decision Tools
Patent №: 12028483 (July 2, 2024) – Communications network security for handling proxy voice calls.

Concepts and technologies for communications network security in handling proxy voice calls with a voicebot are disclosed. A call handling system intercepts a call request directed to a target device, identifies it as generated by a voicebot for user equipment, and suspends the call. It then sends a voicebot confirmation request to the target device, suspending the call until confirmation is received.
Patent №: 12028369 (July 2, 2024) – Compression of user interaction data for machine learning-based detection of target category examples. A processing system identifies user interaction data for a target category, compresses it to a relevant subset, and trains a machine learning model with this subset. It then processes additional user interaction data, applies the relevant subset to the model, obtains a quantifying output, and performs actions based on how indicative the data is of the target category.

Patent №: 12028309 (July 2, 2024) – Intelligent messaging delivery. The disclosed technology delivers electronic messages intelligently by assessing the likelihood of recipient engagement. Delivery can be delayed based on user profile data for each messaging app, considering factors like predicted availability, receptivity, and sender identity. If these factors meet the delayed delivery criteria, the message delivery is postponed to a more optimal time. The sender is notified of the delay and given options for other actions.

Jonathan Blake Brannon
Chief Product & Strategy Officer at OneTrust.

Patent №: 12026651 (July 2, 2024) – Data processing systems and methods for providing training in a vendor procurement process. Data processing systems and methods facilitate vendor procurement by conducting vendor risk assessments and providing tailored training. They identify and address training deficiencies for users and vendors involved in procurement, customizing training based on trainee and organizational attributes to enhance effectiveness.
