Patent №: 11871423 (January 9, 2024) – Transmission on a PCell scheduled by an SCell PDCCH in a 5G NR network.
A 5G user equipment (UE) can monitor PDCCH candidates in non-overlapping CCEs on its primary cell (PCell) and, if applicable, a scheduling secondary cell (SCell). It decodes PDCCH candidates on the SCell to receive instructions for PDSCH or PUSCH transmissions on the PCell.
Patent №: 11871399 (January 9, 2024) – User equipment (UE) and methods for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) sidelink communication in accordance with a short transmission time interval (TTI). A User Equipment (UE) selects a short time interval for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) sidelink transmissions. Legacy time intervals are used for legacy UEs, while short intervals are allocated for non-legacy UEs. The UE sends different control channels during these intervals to notify both legacy and non-legacy UEs about its V2V sidelink transmission.
Patent №: 11870716 (January 9, 2024) – OFDMA-based multiplexing of uplink control information. This describes techniques for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) in OFDMA-based uplinks. It maximizes frequency diversity by mapping UCI symbols to specific resource elements (REs) on the grid, taking into account the proximity to reference signal-carrying REs for improved channel estimation performance.
