Lisa Seacat DeLuca is a seasoned technology executive currently leading engineering and product management for web3 identity and login at Unstoppable Domains, innovating the future of the decentralized web. She has built globally distributed and talented teams from the ground up as well as scaled monolithic products through modernization efforts at Fortune 500 companies. She has an innovative mindset, approaching everything as a prototype. No idea or solution is ever done.
Lisa holds a Masters of Science in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University with minors in Business Administration and Multimedia Productions. She is an Inductee into the Women in Technology International (WITI) Hall of Fame, Entrepreneur Magazine listed Lisa as one of their “49 Female Entrepreneurs Who Are Reshaping the Business World”, and she’s been featured in #LinkedInTopVoices in Technology list three years (2019 #2, 2018 #1, 2017 #2).
She is a TED speaker, a self-published author of two childrens books titled “A Robot Story” and The Internet of Mysterious Things, and the most prolific female inventor in IBM history and the only one to ever reach the 100th Invention Plateau Award (an IBM internal patent award system). The subject of her patent ideas range from areas such as cloud, mobile, IoT, social, security, AI, blockchain, commerce and everything in between. Lisa is an AAAS-Lemelson Inventor Ambassador where she increases visibility to the importance of innovation. Lisa has spoken at numerous tech conferences and written articles to share her technology and innovation passion with others.

Patent №: 11960797 (April 16, 2024) – Dynamic building floorplans using retractable partitions. Techniques are described for managing retractable privacy partitions in buildings to dynamically create rooms. These partitions can fully retract into surfaces like floors or ceilings, allowing unobstructed space when not in use. When extended, they form separate rooms. The management of these partitions is based on the demand for various room sizes. Some models also feature switchable glass for adjustable opacity, adding flexibility to the system.

Some embodiments provide systems and methods using a headset to capture data about a user, such as identity, competence, health, and mental state. This data is then used to determine whether to grant or deny the user access to a resource.

Patent №: 11963172 (April 16, 2024) – Sidelink resource allocation and communication
This disclosure outlines systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication, particularly focusing on sidelink resource allocation. It details how user equipment (UE) receives a message from a base station specifying multiple transmission opportunities for sending information to another UE. The UE transmits the information in the first opportunity and, if unsuccessful, retries in subsequent opportunities. Additional features and aspects are also included.

Patent №: 11962351 (April 16, 2024) – Multilayer photonic devices with metastructured layers. The device consists of an input region for receiving signals, a multilayer stack with two patterned, metastructured dispersive regions that are optically connected, and an output region. These components work together to transform the input signal into an output signal.
