Patent №: 12279285 – Search Space Set Switching.

image 75

This invention improves how devices handle capability signaling and switch search spaces in high-frequency wireless communication, enhancing flexibility, timing, and control message handling.

Patent №: 12279218 – EXTENDING A TIME GAP RANGE FOR NON-TERRESTRIAL NETWORKS. A base station determines an uplink slot in a non-terrestrial network by calculating a timing advance from a received random access preamble, using it to set an uplink offset, and selecting a candidate slot accordingly. If that slot is available, it’s used; otherwise, the next available slot is chosen.

Patent №: 12278788 – Time Domain Window Determination for Wireless Communication. Techniques are provided for determining time windows to maintain power consistency and phase continuity during wireless transmissions between a user device and a base station, including methods for defining the start, end, and duration of such windows.

Dr. Yang Tang is the Chair of 3GPP RAN4 and a Senior Manager at Apple. He leads Apple’s RAN4 team, shaping RF standards for 5G and 6G. Previously, he held key roles at Intel and Huawei USA, contributing to wireless standardization.

Patent №: 12279166 – METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASUREMENT CONFIGURATION UPDATES FOR INTER-CELL MOBILITY. A method for a network element includes encoding and transmitting a message to user equipment (UE) that contains neighbor cell configuration information, with a list of neighbor cell groups, each linked to a specific cell.

Patent №: 12278781 – METHODS AND ARRANGMENTS FOR MEASUREMENT GAP CONFIGURATION. A system determines measurement gap configurations for new radio frequency layers and channel state information based on a user device’s reported capabilities, and communicates this configuration to the physical layer for proper scheduling and decoding.

Patent №: 12279283 – SYSTEM INFORMATION SCHEDULING IN MACHINE TYPE COMMUNICATION.

image 79

An apparatus receives system information in specific subframes based on configuration data that includes a scheduling field indicating which subframes carry the information. A controller uses this data to guide the receiver. Related transmitting methods and devices are also included.

Patent №:  12279279 – PREEMPTING AN ALLOCATION OF UPLINK RESOURCES. An apparatus manages overlapping uplink grants by prioritizing the one with higher priority. When two uplink resource sets overlap, the device selects the higher-priority grant, generates a transport block accordingly, and transmits using the prioritized resources.

Patent №:  12279212 – REPORTING POWER HEADROOM INFORMATION. An apparatus reports PH information by calculating it for a shorter TTI on a second serving cell and transmitting it during a longer overlapping TTI on a first serving cell, enabling coordination across cells with different TTI lengths.
