Hu is a a researcher at Mississauga-based Xerox Research Centre of Canada, developed an “adhesion promoter” that improves book-binding capabilities of colour printers.

Nan-Xing completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai. He then completed his master’s and doctorate in organic chemistry at Hiroshima University in Japan.

An electrochemical device is disclosed, featuring an anode, a cathode, and an extruded electrolyte composition between them. The device may have a stacked or lateral geometry, and the electrolyte composition, which may include a gel polymer, is arranged in a laterally non-continuous pattern. A method for producing the electrolyte layer is also provided.

A MN in a DC transmits a paging message to a wireless device with an indication for an EDT procedure for the SN. The MN receives an AS-RAI from the device and determines whether to proceed with the EDT procedure or transition the device to the RRC-CONNECTED state based on the received AS-RAI.
